Become Psychology London
Become Psychology is a group of experienced Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, and Consultant Psychiatrists. We provide high quality, effective therapy and psychiatric consultation for individuals and couples.
We have all just had one life and what has happened to us colours how we see ourselves, others and the world. Sometimes this feels obvious and right, but sometimes our patterns of thinking, feeling and acting can be the source of our problems. Therapy can help you understand and change these patterns improving your emotional well-being and quality of life.
Psychological problems are common, and at some point in their lives around half the UK population will experience difficulties which might benefit from professional help. It is also true that a lot of people who could benefit do not seek help because of fears and stigma around mental health problems.
Coming to see a psychologist or psychiatrist does not mean that you are weak or a failure, in fact recognising that you may need help can take courage and be the first important step to overcoming your problems. There is now abundant research evidence showing that psychological therapies are effective, and so you do not need to soldier on feeling that nothing can be done to change your situation for the better.
We offer evidence-based psychological therapy that is collaborative, respecting and nurturing to both individuals and couples, and tailored to your needs and circumstances. We also offer specialist psychiatric consultation and treatment for a wide range of problems.
