Recruitment: Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) online supervision group.
I am looking to recruit two to three Clinical/Counselling Psychologists or Psychotherapists for a cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) informed supervision group. The group will meet online using zoom videoconferencing software which is fully interactive. The supervision is primarily geared towards therapists including CBT practitioners whom are wanting to deepen their understandings and skills of relational approaches and apply these skills to address common relational issues, particularly when working with complexity.
As a Clinical Psychologist and Accredited CAT Supervisor, I have much experience of integrating relational approaches to the supervision of time limited psychological therapies, including CBT. For those who might wish to undertake formal training in CAT at a later date, it is worth bearing in mind that as I am an accredited CAT supervisor you may be able to submit two completed cases under my supervision as counting towards the eight cases required to complete the practitioner level CAT training. Please note that this is always at the discretion of the relevant course director.
CAT theory and practice is accessible and intuitive and in my experience supervisees without prior CAT experience are usually able to understand and integrate the approach without difficulty.
The aim is to meet for 60-90 minutes weekly or fortnightly as agreed, with the expectation of a minimum six-month commitment. The cost will be £120 shared amongst the number of supervisees, representing good value for money for a rich supervisory and CPD opportunity. If you are interested and would like to discuss further, please get in touch by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 07941027765. One to one supervision is also available if preferred.
I’ve included some feedback from previous supervisees who experienced my relational approach to supervision.
